I don't know what happened to Hollywood. Did all of the movie makers rediscover their mojo simultaneously or was the need for a distraction or a superhero just too apparent to ignore? Whatever it was, this summer has rocked for movie-going. And, being the happy, little nerds that we are, we might have seen one or two or eight of the summer movies. Epk does something that I couldn't, she picks her five favorite movies of the summer. Be sure to read Epk's Top Five Movies for a rundown of what you really shouldn't miss. I'm the retarded sort of puppy that Hollywood adores. I usually find something to like about everything. So, a top five list would be impossible for me to do - though I can at least say that The Dark Knight is the best movie of the summer. In other news, you may or may not have noticed that the Smartanian Blog has bit the dust. You can send all thank you cards and letter bombs to your favorite local spammers and spambot creators for that. It was completely overrun with cheap airfare spam. Damn spammers. Damn them all to hell. However, never to be wholly defeated, Epk and I decided that we could achieve our same rambletastic goals by babbling in the articles section of the site. To that end, the Blog entries have been converted to articles and can be found (along with future submissions) here at the new Ranting and Rambling section of the site - which we hope will become something akin to a spontaneous and crazy version of our very old Monthly Mutation.
